Windows 10 'Sign-In options' Order

I have a machine that has multiple smart cards. The sign-in options on the logon screen always defaults to the last smart card.

As you can see from this screen shot, the last smart card is selected, and I always have to click on the middle smart card to login. I need to have the middle smart card selected by default. Deleting the other smart card is not an option.

I know there is an option in Group Policy to set the default credential provider under Computer->Administrative Templates->System->Logon->Assign a default credential provider, but you can only set a GUID. The same GUID is used for both smart cards {8FD7E19C-3BF7-489B-A72C-846AB3678C96}

Is there a way to set a default smart card?
Is there a way to reorder the sign-in options so the smart card I want is the last one?

Thanks,
Scott

    Hi,

    By default, when you choose a sign-in option on the login screen, the option you select will remain as the default option for signing-in to your user account on your PC.

    That means, if you select the middle smart card to login, the default option will be the middle smart card for your next login. But once you select the last smart card to login, it will become the default login option in the next time.

    If the last smart card is always selected whether you choose the middle or last card in the previous login, we suggest that you could remove both the cards and re-add them. Try to add the smart card you would like to set as default after another optional smart card.

    Thjanks,

    Eleven
