SUengine.exe?

I just got a pop-up that says "SUengine.exe - System Error  A new guard page for the stack cannot be created."

Hopefully this is clear to someone.  A google search returned questionable results that seem to suggest that this is a third-party issue of some sort.  Any insight would be appreciated.

I have the latest build of ver 1803 running on a laptop with 8GB of RAM; MS Outlook was running.  When I closed the error box, there seemed to be no ill effects.

    Hello Dave -

No as to Freegamepick, meaning there is no program listed with that name nor does it show up in a Windows Explorer search of the C: drive (I did a search in Program Files and Program Files (x86) also.).  Both Startup and Services did not show anything not associated with names of companies you've heard of, i.e. HP, Apple, Intel, Logitech, Microsoft, Realtech, Samsung & Google.  Accordingly I made no changes to my system.

This has only happened on one occasion, so am not sure what caused it.

Thanks for your thoughts on this.  If it occurs again, I'll try to delve more deeply into it.

Hi Charlie, do you have software loaded by Freegamepick.Com ?

That may have been downloaded with something else without you noticing . ..

Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager

    Click on the Startup Tab

See if anything suspicious is listed there

If it is, select it and click 'Disable'

    Close Task Manager

Click your Start Button, type msconfig and hit Enter

When the System Configuration dialog opens, click on the Services Tab

Check the box marked 'Hide Microsoft Services'

In the remaining list see if anything suspicious is listed there, uncheck any you find

    Click Apply and OK

Restart your System and this annoyance will be gone . . .
