It's now 2021 and yet when I fire up office I look at the UI and my heart sinks. It does not make sense to me, I can't find anything without guessing at the (to me) randomly organised ribbon. Please can I have the option of the classic UI as in Office 2003, I may not be able to use all the wonderful features offered by the ribbon, but as I can't find them intuitively I don't mind. It would just be nice to Format a Paragraph or Insert a Table etc etc that you could do so easily with the old interface. I note that there are some software patches available from third party software houses that do this job. Why can't MS offer the option if others can?

    @Andy Willis
    Please refer to JohnKorchok's reply to have a chcek.

    Microsoft replaced the classical menu with a new Ribbon for many years, and a lot of users get used to this Ribbon design.

    But I find a similar thread "Provide a classic menu alternative to the Ribbon" in Microsoft 365 UserVocie forum, you may vote it up to support this idea.
