Question about Windows Server and Remote Desktops

Hi All,

First of all, I'm new here and I'm new to windows servers. Recently I got assigned a task to set up a windows server and enable 25 users to access the server and use some applications that I will have to install such as MS Word, Excel, Visio and etc. Users will be accessing the server via RDP. The server is located on the cloud and it's not in the same local network.

Consider me as a beginner and someone who can kindly assist me in pointing out what parts I need to complete this puzzle will very be appreciated.

Hi,
According to your description, you need to setup a RDS environment. It is easier for Local Server.
Remote licensing Server could allow users access Remote Server.
Remote Web Access Server could allow users access the applications you published.

For Cloud, I'm not very familiar with the settings. I consider Azure Team probably knows better. Do you mean you want to create RDS on Azure? Hope the information below may be helpful.
