VS 2019, React and SEO

I develop on the MS stack and will build a website where performance and SEO are critical. For performance I'm considering React, but special considerations need to be taken for React and SEO. The problem is all articles talking about how to optimize SEO for react are on other platforms, not anything related to MS or VS. And no VS articles mention anything about SEO.

Am I making a poor choice here for a stack or are there resources to tell me how to optimize a React site developed with Visual Studio, c# (on the backend) and IIS?
