Welp, I can't install the os.

So basically, I have 32-bit versions of Windows 8 Consumer Preview on an iso. I start up the vm and it seems to load the disk image. After 30 seconds, boom! "Your computer needs to restart" with it error code 0x0000000A which means irql_not_less_or_equal but on Windows 8. Never received this before when installing systems. I thought the iso was corrupt so I downloaded it from archive.org (because Microsoft uploaded old stuff on there) and tried again. I got it again. I tried Windows Developer Preview and got the same error but this time, most of the error message had square text. Windows 8 and 8.1 work fine but I want to see what it felt like using this from february 2012 but I guess it won't work. Please help.

Windows 8 is not currently supported here on QnA. I'd try asking for help in dedicated forums here.
