When trying to reinstall the KeyManagementServiceHost package to a different server (the old one has become obsolete) of our domain and type the product key, we get an 0xc004c008 error "the product key exceeded its unlock limit" The product key has been working without problem while installed on the old server. ![72071-kms-error.png][1] [1]: /api/attachments/72071-kms-error.png?platform=QnA Thank you in advance, Panagiotis Papaioannou National Centre for Public Administration Greece

    Hi @Panagiotis Papaioannou ,
KMS host keys will activate up to 10 times on six different computers. If more activations are necessary, contact the Microsoft Activation Call Center:

    https://www.microsoft.com/licensing/resources/vol/numbers.mspx

    Hope the information is helpful.

Thanks for the answer. The problem is that the key has only been used two (or three times tops, on a physical machine which later was converted to a VM). I had already contacted Microsoft Activation Call Center which prompted me to seek here for support. Maybe i 'll try to contact them again. Thanks anyway!
