RDP Server session login is Slow

Server OS : 2019

RDP : License enabled for 10 users.

We have enabled RDP session in azure vm and login authentication works through Azure AD it allows only bio-metric authentication. When Users are logging initial login screen takes time to fully load. Is there a way to speed up this process.

Define 'takes time'. 10s? 60s? 120s?
Also ControlUp has a free PowerShell script to break down the logon phases so you can see where/why it is taking time (i.e. GPO processing, shell start etc).

we are facing this issue from the time server was deployed. Currently am exploring option of ControlUp to figure which process is taking time.

Hi KarthickG,

You could refer to this official document to check the relevant logon procedure. And then intall network monitor as administrator on the RDSH, DC, RDCB, RDWEB accordingly to catch logs. Hopefully, you can find some problem hints via this.

what kind of profile used to log on the session host? local profile, roaming profile, UPD or Fslogix? If you choose to use local profile, will the logging on still be slow?
