RDweb application sometimes shows pieces of terminal server in session

I have a customer that is having an issue with an RDWeb application. We have proprietary software that is run by this method. When this user connects to the app from the web portal, sometimes he will see the start bar and search menu of the terminal server where the application is stored. The only way to make this go away is to kill the user session from the terminal server itself or just have it time out (which takes about 2 hours). I'm not even sure where to start looking. It's only happening to one person in the company now but it has happened to others and they would like a solution. Has anyone ever seen this behavior before. Thanks, Rodneyc

Could you provide a screenshot of the issue (he will see the start bar and search menu of the terminal server ) ?

They are basically able to access the start bar of the server and bring up the properties as shown.
This is after launching out app from the web portal.
