Importing SAP BW using a Specified Date Range

I am trying to update a Import query in SAP BW Query in Power BI. I was trying to use the star schema approach but every time I add a new dimension it asks for a date.

Every month we want to add the new month and drop off the old. For example we start with Jan, Feb, Mar, then we want to go to Feb, Mar, Apr.

Is there an easy way to do this without having to rebuild all the data.

We have thought about importing every month, but that still does not help us when a new month is added to our BW data.

Basically, we want a way to refresh out query with restricted dates without having to rebuild it. Is there a simple way to do this?
