Hi, I have a SharePoint 2013 farm with enterprise User CAL license. We are not using Enterprise feature and while upgrading the environment to SharePoint 2019 we want to downgrade our CAL license. Anyone has done this ? and what is the process ? I also want to know the limitation?

    Hi @Nagendra Gangwar ,

Per my understanding, if you want to use the CAL license in SP2019, you need to purchase new licenses, the 2013 license cannot be used in SP2019.
Just choose the right license according to your needs:
    SharePoint 2019 licensing

For more information about licenses, I would suggest you consult the local sales.

In addition, if you use DB migration, then you need to migrate from SP2013 to SP2016, and then to SP2019. When doing the migration, you could check whether the enterprise-related features have been closed, if not, better close them.
