Hi,
we currently using SSAS 2017 (multidimensional) and I'm trying to leverage multi select for drillthroughs that we're building out for our reporting.
However, when I try to use the actions with multiple items from a filter selected, I get the familiar error saying "Drillthrough action is not supported when multiple items are selected in a report filter or slicer." Just to provide a little more context, I'm trying to call actions which return a rowset.
Is there a way to use the drilltrough with filtered items?

Are you dealing with multidimension cube or tabular model?

As far as I know this kind of drillthrough on multi-selected rows should be supported on SSAS 2016 and for Excel 2016. You could see Chris Webb's blog for the conformation. Drillthrough On Multiselect Now Works In Excel 2016 And SSAS 2016
Because the restrict comes from both application, and I am not quite familiar with Excel 365 and I don't have test environment of Excel 365.
I would suggest you to open a ticket with Office 365 team, to check if there is such kind of limitation on Excel 365 -- "Show Details cannot be executed when multiple items are selected in a report filter or in a slicer. Select a single item for each field in the report filter area and for each slicer connected to this PivotTable before performing a drillthrough."
Or, if you have Excel 2016 as a test environment, you could try do the drill through on Excel 2016. If it works, if means at least your Cube and SSAS 2017 is working correctly.
No we have Excel365
Yes - i found this solution. Therefore i thought somebody has a solution for Excel365 also ;-)
