I installed Visual Studio 2019 at my new NB with new-installed Windows 10. The first time, I launched it successfully. Then, I tried to change its language from Chinese to the same as Windows. Then, I launched it again, and I got an error code (-1073741819). I tried the following to conquer it in vain:
1> Removed it using VS Installer or using Windows System tools and then re-installed it.
2> Bought reImage and follow instructions by the agent.
3> Follows instructions from the web like https://appuals.com/file-system-error-1073741819-on-windows-10/
4> Post this issue to Microsoft QnA months ago.
5> Run 'Repair' of Visual Studio Installer
I failed to launch Visual Studio at my new NB which causes that I can't move my jobs to the new NS. Please help me to fix it ASAP.
The error message box is as attached.
The version of downloaded Visual Studio is "vs_community__1633035219.1608874044"

Hi @Stan Huang , thank you for sharing me the activity log, I checked the log file, but this file doesn’t provide more detailed information. I then checked the previous thread you posted before in our forum. So may I ask, did you use a proxy(maybe for network?), or install some third-party extensions, applications on your machine?
If you want, I can let you to connect to my NB using TeamViewer. It could be quicker to figure out it.
This is a brand new NB with new-installed Windows 10. My MIS stuff installed it for me. Once getting it, the first thing I did almost is installing VS 2019 because I can hardly do my job without it. I never re-installed it since I got the NB or since I met this error. So, I didn't do my job at this NB for such error. I don't have Windows installation material to install, so I must commit my MIS guy to remove and then re-install Windows 10.
Per your suggestion of re-install Windows 10 and then re-install Visual Studio 2019, this idea emerged at my mind weeks ago. I just feel shy to have my MIS stuff to do that. But now, since you suggest such idea, I'm considering taking such action.
Hi @Stan Huang , ok, I see. Just as a tip, after finishing installing Windows 10, please kindly download and install the Visual Studio 2019 from here: Microsoft Visual Studio 2019 Downloads. Feel free to let me know if this issue disappears after reinstalling.
I went to ask for help from the MIS coworker but he is absent today. Tomorrow, I will ask for help again.

I believe it will be the same as the one you suggested.
I re-installed Windows 10 and then re-downloaded Visual Studio 2019 and it was launched up successfully. Thanks.
