The best way to do this is to add new SharePoint Servers to the farm running Windows Server 2016, move all applicable Service Instances + Search roles to the new member servers, and finally change your DNS records/load balancer VIP to point to the new FEs. From there, you can run the Config Wizard on each server you are retiring to remove them from the farm.
we have windows server 2012 for SP 2016 farm
we have windows server 2012 for SP 2016 farm. We have 2 below requirements:
now we want to install 2016 server OS for this exsiting SP 2016 farm
and also we want to expand the Farm.

Please clarify my below 4 questions:
Current farm has 4000 Giga byte data with 2 Web application
so for example this 2 web application has xxx.yy.com & ppp.yy.com having IPS 10.1 & 10.2
so after moving this to new environment (2016 OS ) will URL same ad IPS gets changed?when you suggested service instances and search roles , does it include ContetData bases & service application?
what are the service application we can move? is it all?how much down time will it take?
