evaluate sxstrace logfile

In copying files to new laptop, I get a Quicken side by side error. I ran Sxstrace and got errors. ERROR: Cannot resolve reference Microsoft.VC90.MFC,processorArchitecture="x86",publicKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",type="win32",version="9.0.21022.8". I ran a download from MS website of 2008 redistributable C++ …..vcredist.exe and ran it presumably to load up the missing dll….but still got the side by side error. Can someone please help.... I do have the entire logfile that I could forward if helpful.

    Try installing:
    Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86)
    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8328
    Windows 10 and PCs with Visual Studio will need this fix.

    Yes, this worked !! Thank you very much !! I had to reboot after running the file and voila, my Quicken worked !!
