Help with getting remote desktop for windows 10 on iphone

Question

I downloaded the Microsoft app on my iPhone I enabled the Remote Desktop connection on windows 10 pc

I tried connecting using both domain “computer name: desktop-DM9NMJJ”

And IP : (my ipv4 number shown in network center from the host computer- my home pc that I want to connect to )

I signed up a new user name under other users (as opposed to family) using my own normal email address I use for everything

I tried full user name and short format “myEmail@Stuff .com, myEmail” in the Remote Desktop app login

I tried both ways:
myEmail@Stuff .com\DM9NMJJ

And the other way I forget exactly

I entered pass word correctly for the Microsoft accounts

I also tried using the name of the computer that I currently signed into “ThinkPad”

Nothing seems to be working

There’s a lot of confusion because they want IP address or domain name or user name

Sometimes it says the user account does not work

And other times

Unable to connect error code 0xc07 (when I write DESKTOP-DM9NMJJ\ThinkPad, no password since a password is not used for my home pc )

1. you are trying to use remote app on your phone to remote the pc?
2. what's the pc hostname, thinkpad or desktop-DM9NMJJ?

3. if we create a local administrator account on win10, and we use the local account on the phone to remote the win10 PC. Does it work?
