Hi,
So I have a SSD drive which I mainly use for my guest OS. After using the SSD drive, I will always have to shut down my computer to properly eject my SSD. If i try to eject my SSD after using Hyper-V Manager, It will always say that the device is currently in use even though I'm not using it. Any help?

Warm Regards,
T

    Hi,

After the SSD not used by the VM, first check if the SSD is detached in the VM settings, if not, please detach the SSD in VM.

Then check the disk manager in the Hyper V host. Please try to offline the SSD disk in disk manager, then check if we can eject the drive.

    Thanks for your time!
    Best Regards,
    Anne
