How can an administrator force users avoid long file names in order to avoid long file names that exceed the 260 characters limit?

    Hello @Marius - Roma

Please find if the group policy method helps: Prevent user from creating files which do have more than 260 characters

Or you can refer to other workarounds suggested in these two thread:
    Limit File Name Length
How do you prevent overlong file names?

    Best Regards
    Karlie
