Azure Migrate 2012 Hyper-V server

I've got an environment running Hyper-v core 2012 (active-passive).

Can i install an stand alone hyper-v server with the azure migrate appliance and use that appliance to migrate VM's from my hyper-v cluster?

I've so far always been able to install my appliance on the hyper-v server, but i am not familiar with having the appliance outside the active hyper-v environment.

    @Auke Maat Thank you for your post and I apologize for the delayed response!

    As long as there is line of sight, there should be no issues. The MARS migration agent will have to be installed on the Hyper-V host. Refer to - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/migrate/agent-based-migration-architecture
