Azure Cosmos DB

Question

Hello,

I've been searching about cosmos DB and i have a question that i need to clarify.

I've an azure cosmos DB that is configured with the periodic backup. I was reading that those backups are stored in an azure storage account in the same region. My question is if i have acess to this storage account or is it managed by azure?

Azure CosmosDB stores the backups in blob storage. It is completely managed by Azure.
You cannot access the backups or the storage account.
