I created a maintenance plan for differential backup. I am a workgroup network. How can I configure the network service. The plan is working perfectly in the local system.

Yes, this can be different to get working in a workgroup. The SQL Server account needs to have access to the network drive. You would have to set up SQL Server to run under a regular Windows user, and on the other machine you would create the same user with the same password.
