Hi All,

Is it possible to upgrade the SCOM agent to Azure monitoring agent( Log Analytics agent).
We are installing SCOM 2019 in Azure and planning to connect the SCOM agent back to log analytics for audit reports.

Regards,

The SCOM agent (microsoft monitoring agent) is already capable of communicating with log analytics, there is no need to upgrade it

@Anonymous , The Azure Log Analytics agent collects telemetry from Windows and Linux virtual machines in any cloud, on-premises machines, and those monitored by System Center Operations Manager and sends it collected data to your Log Analytics workspace in Azure Monitor

For Microsoft Monitoring Agent, it can connect the agent to Azure Log Analytics directly by clicking Add under "Azure Log Analytucs (OMS)" of Microsoft Monitoring Agent Properties:

    Hope it can help.
