Hello,
We are looking to enable bitlocker management on our SCCM however we are using MBAM to set up and manage bitlocker currently. I cannot find any specific information on the impact to turning it on. Wondering if it just imports the data from the existing server or if it starts new configs. If anyone knows that would be great, sorry if this was asked I wound up on page three of search results with nothing specific. It looks like this app should pull everything, and do nothing until it is deployed to a group. Just want to make sure, thanks.

    @Kelly Marosok

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

    If this was asked I wound up on page three of search results with nothing specific.

    Could we know if we means we saw the third part of the following blog?

    Note: this is non-official Microsoft article just for your reference.

    It looks like this app should pull everything, and do nothing until it is deployed to a group.

    If we means the scenario of migrating to Configuration Manager, yes, you are right. These MBAM clients need to escrow their key information to CM instead of MBAM. This is no requirement of decryption or re-encryption of the volumes. Besides, bitlocker on the individual systems is completely unaffected and unchanged.

    Have a good day!
