Failover Cluster adding additional interfaces

Question

There are two hosts in the cluster, the cluster has two meshes, client and heartbeat. On each host, the network card has 4 physical interfaces, here and now one interface is used, is it possible to add to the existing team and raise the speed from 2Gbps to 6Gbps?

Do you mean you would like to use the remaining physical interface on the hosts to form NIC teaming, and suspect to use 3x 2GB NIC for form NIC teaming to increase the speed to 6GB?

If so, you may try to form the NICs with the following NIC teaming mode:

Teaming mode: LACP

Load balance mode: Address Hash

Besides, we need to ensure the Switch device support LACP.
