There is no built-in setting or option that can avoid the replacement in this situation, which can be considered as one kind of performance issues or uncoordinated collaborations in SharePoint Online.
Just a reminder, InfoPath 2010 has reached its Lifecycle End Date (and soon will InfoPath 2013), which means there will no longer be any future update for fix for issues on this service.
It is recommended republish the form using InfoPath 2013, or use PowerApps instead.
