Sharing a SPO list with external users

Hi,

I need some help with the following:

I have a SPO list which I have shared to external users via a B2B set up in AAD.

I have attempted to share an item in the list and the list itself to those email addresses which have accepted the B2B invitation.

When the external user attempts to click the link to an item I have explicitly shared with them they are present with access denied and to request access -
I have tried with my personal hotmail account and I did not receive the same error, unsure of why this is not working?
But having attempted to also share the list with the external users and also my hotmail account, and on this occasion both the external users receive access denied and so does my hotmail account.

Can lists not be shared with external users if a B2B arrangement is in place?
What am I missing here please?

    Hi @G99 ,

Make sure external users have appropriate permissions on the list item or current list.

If the user still receiving an error message, please remove them from the site using the following steps:

1)Browse to the site and edit the URL by adding the following string to the end of it:

     /_layouts/15/people.aspx?MembershipGroupId=0

For example, the full URL will resemble the following:

    https://contoso.sharepoint.com/_layouts/15/people.aspx/membershipGroupId=0

2)Select the person from the list, and then on the Actions menu, select Delete Users from Site Collection.

3)Grant the external user permissions back to the list or list items.
