Hi,
Apple will release new iOS 14.5 and there will be several changes to user privacy and data use. I use Application Insights to gather analytics information from the app. I want to know does Microsoft use any user or device data information which are collected by Azure for advertising or share it with data brokers?
Depends on the used data we need to make the decision about adding "Asking Permission to Track” or not. If the user doesn’t give us the permission, we can’t track several data.
Here is the link to the Apple's Documentation: https://developer.apple.com/app-store/user-privacy-and-data-use/ .
From the documentation "Tracking refers to the act of linking user or device data collected from your app with user or device data collected from other companies’ apps, websites, or offline properties for targeted advertising or advertising measurement purposes. Tracking also refers to sharing user or device data with data brokers.”.

Could you please confirm that Azure. does NOT collect any user or device data to use it for advertising or share it with data brokers?

Hi @Anonymous - Below is the information about Protecting Personal Data in the Cloud and Azure customer data protection.

However based on the information you shared, not sure I understand your query about Application Insights in what context you are using it in your scenario and what query you have on that.

Please review the above links shared and let us know if you still have any further queries. Thank you

    Regards,
