Hi everyone!
In one division we upgraded computers (about 30 computers). But not to reinstall the operating system, we just cloned the disk. After that, there were problems with the activation of the system. How can it be centrally re-activated OS (without connecting to each PC separately)? The organization uses the KMS server for licensing.

Clone disk for image deployment will lead to every computer has the same SID, KMS server will regards these 30 computers as the one computers, activation will fai.
    Two ways to resolve issue:

    1. deploy the image which has been sysprep to these 30 computers, then activate by KMS again.
    2. Use third-party tool change the computer’s SID, this way may need to pay.

Cloning the system without sysprep is not recommended. Activation is based on several key pieces of hardware, which are check on start up of the system. In your case, the check is finding that the image has been copied and fails.

Do you require a different license key for each system?
