Hey, Any idea from where can I download the ISO for WS19 2004? I downloaded 17763.737.190906-2324.rs5_release_svc_refresh_SERVER_EVAL_x64FRE_en-us_1.iso from the Trial page but I'm not sure if that's 2004.

    Hi,

If you have a Volume Licensing Service Center (VLSC) or Visual Studio subscription, you'll find the new Windows Server build 2004 there.

The Windows Server evaluation ISO is build 1809.

You can also download the Windows Server insider preview builds from here:
    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windowsinsiderpreviewserver

Also note that the Windows Server, version 2004 is not Windows Server 2019, they are different releases.

    • Windows Server 2019 is a Long-Term Servicing Channel (LTSC) release.
    • Windows Server, version 2004 is a Semi-Annual Channel (SAC) release.

    Best regards,
    Leon

Shout out to Microsoft for not releasing this to all the users running Windows Server 2019... </sarcasm> Some of us want a Ryzen optimized kernel (introduced in W10 1903) but instead we are stuck only running Intel.
