FSLogix | AccessNetworkAsComputerObject | attach VHDX as user or as computer on a share best practices?

Default Value 0
0: default – attach as user. 1: attach as computer - folder must have permissions for computer objects.

Is there any best practice / reference out to choose to attach as the computer?
For me:

Pro?

  • No user access needed on the shares, just the computer accounts. (Easier setup share permissions)
  • Computers can always access the shares

Negative?:

  • Not the default option within FSLogix (could be for a reason but VHDX is also not the default)
  • From a RDSH host maybe many SMB connections from a single computer account

Anyhow, If would prefer the computer option but are there any really drawbacks in this approach?
