I get this error in the event log for every disk/volume that I'm trying to backup from my Windows 10 machine using Windows Home Server software. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the connector software to no avail. I don't know what to do from here.

Volume Shadow Copy Service error: Unexpected error querying for the IVssWriterCallback interface. hr = 0x80070005, Access is denied.. This is often caused by incorrect security settings in either the writer or requestor process.

    Hi,
Firstly. I suggest that you need to check the account permission under Registry and DCOM. Please follow the steps below:
    https://www.ryadel.com/en/volume-shadow-copy-service-error-unexpected-error-querying-for-the-ivsswritercallback-interface-how-to-fix-that/
Hope this helps and please help to accept as Answer if the response is useful.
If the issue still insists, I suggest that you run Windows Update to check if any security update you could find. Try to install them. Then reboot to back up.
Hope this helps and please help to accept as Answer if the response is useful.
    Best Regards,
    Carl
