See l have already said that l have don't all these things. again my problem is why is it that l only have 2 users in a shared folder, but everyone on the network can still see the contents of this folder. there are no GPO's in place.
Windows 2016 network shares
Could anyone help me out. I have setup domain users and placed them in a group called staff. which only has access to certain folders. l have a group called managers. which also has there shared folders. why is it that no matter what l do there is one managers folder that can be accessed via the staff group even though in the share permissions l only have administrators and the managers group. l have followed MS shared practices and checked that everyone isn't in the permissions list. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Based on my understanding , the managers folder can be accessed by the staff group through the network path, right?
To know the issue , would you please share a screenshot as following (Please hide the private information):
Then run command :whoami for the user in staff group to check the membership.
Best Regards,
