DP Used in a Task Sequence

I have a client that built a DP at his home lab, set it up with PKI, and it using it to test OSD Task Sequences. The Boundary and Boundary Group is set for his IP Address range and does not overlap any other boundary. The Boundary Group Site Server is the Home DP. He tells me the application and packages are coming from both the primary site and the local DP. Besides building out a new Task Sequence and have all pieces of the Task Sequence ONLY distributed to the local DP, is there a reason the Task Sequence would use anything other than the local DP?

    I would start by confirming that all of the content used in that task sequence are distributed to the "LocalDP"

    If it continues to pull from the other DP, and not the Local DP, I'd turn off the ability of the deployment to fallback to a different DP, then see what content is failing, and rebuild that specific content.

    @Matt Dillon

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

    Is there a reason the Task Sequence would use anything other than the local DP?

    Could we know if this means we want to use the home DP?(please correct me if I'm misunderstanding.)
    As agreed with Gary, we may need to put the reference contents on the home DP before testing OSD Task Sequences.

    Have a good day!

    Fallback is not set up. He did set up the Home DP as a Pull DP. I will have to manually check myself to make sure the contents are actually distributed to the home DP.

    Client had conflicting boundary/boundary groups. It was the first thing I asked him about. Groan.
