    The message is quite clear, you have an old beta version of SSMS installed on your machine.
    Do what the message says: Uninstall old SSMS version, before you can install a current version.

    Hi Venzt21-4697,
    As Olaf mentioned, please make sure you have uninstalled pre-release version of SSMS from “Add/Remove Programs” in the Control Panel and restart your computer before you installing SSMS 18.8.

    If uninstalling the pre-release version of SSMS still does not work, please try the following steps:

    1. Removed "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio 18" folder
    2. Deleted registry key "HKLM\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio"(please backup registry key first)
    3. Restart the computer
    4. Temporarily disable any antivirus software and firewall

    And then install SSMS 18.8 again.
