Hello everybody,

I got a new WIN10 installation and I keep running into errors due to the explorer, which causes several problem:

  • randomly restarts of the explorer or even the whole system
  • Alt-tabbing or Win-tabbing randomly causes the explorer or the system to crash
  • Sometimes after a forced restart like this the whole start menu is reset to the default
  • desktop wallpaper randomly disappears to a black picture.

I already installed WIN10 freshly due to some other problems but these problems came back and since I don't want to start all over again I thought I ask here.
I attached the event from the windows event viewer which I was able to identify after the explorer restarting literally every time I Alt-Tabbed bevore I restarted the system:

Try boot your system in the clean boot and see if the problem persist?

    Hi,
Looks like this problem indeed caused by atidxx64.dll
To resolve this problem, firstly, try to run Sfc /scannow command to fix system componments for test.
If no use, it would be better to access Windows Recoveroy mode to make system repair.

In addition, generally speaking, system dll file won't have problem, have you installed any app in your system that may harm to system file before this problem occurred?

After checking the functionality in clean boot, follow the suggestions under
“How to reset the computer to start as usual after troubleshooting with clean boot”.

Hope above information can help you.
