Windows Cannot Access File Server

I am attempting to access a university file server remotely through Windows 10 (I use a VPN, specifically Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client). However, while I managed to successfully map the network drive/add the network location, I receive an error message that says I do not have permission to access files within it (attached below). I'm not sure if this is a fault on my end or the institution's. Before contacting IT, I'd like to know if there's anything I can do.

    Hi ,

Can you access the file via UNC with \IP address\share directly? If not, what's the exact error message? For permission error message, make sure the account for logon VPN does have the permission to access these folders.

    Best Regards,

    Candy

Looks like an IT issue. It appears that you don't have the appropriate permissions.
