I want to develop such a function that when the customer is accessing SharePoint in a browser, they want to be able to right click on a ".xxx" file and have an option to open in The Local win32 application. Like this https://appsource.microsoft.com/en-us/product/web-apps/adobeinc.adobe-document-cloud-pdf?tab=overview. I probably know that I want to develop an office365 add-in,
But I am not sure whether this addin-in can call my local win32 (.exe) application. In addition, I am a novice, can you provide me with some development materials? Thanks!

    Hi @jian zheng ,

    Per my knowledge, it's not possible to call (.exe) application from SharePoint site in a browswer. The browser itself will not allow you to do this as it is a significant security risk.
