Missing SIP Address from ProxyAddresses

Hope everyone is doing well?.

We have part of our organization running an on-premises Skype for Business instance. For those users we still sync them to Azure AD as they use other services such as Exchange Online, SharePoint, ProPlus etc. etc. They just dont get the Skype for Business license (no Hybrid in place).

Until very recently (i would say the last two weeks) the SIP address of that on-premises SfB user has been syncing perfectly fine to Azure AD thus appearing as a SIP address in proxyAddresses. This would give our Skype for Business Online users a nice address book lookup for said on-premises users.

But now for some unknown reason SIP addresses are missing from proxyAddresses in Azure AD. Even though when I check the exported object on Azure AD Connect i can see the SIP is suggesting its going to export.

Have their been any changes in Azure AD recently to stop these attribute flows?

Do you have any operations before SIP address missing in proxyAddresses?

In my experience, when an object is synchronized to Azure AD, the values that are specified in the proxyAddresses attribute in Active Directory are compared with Azure AD rules, and then the proxyAddresses attribute is populated in Azure AD. Therefore, it recommends you try to check if you modify the built-in synchronization rules which manage the configuration.
