Windows Installer... Server 2012 R2

Question

Hello all As a new member, I am we ran into a problem and stuck with this below message on the Server while installing/uninstalling any software... "Another program is being installed. Please wait until that installation is complete, and then try to install the software again" with Windows Server 2012 R2. I am searching online but no luck yet. Any advise would be appreciated. Hi,

Thanks for posting in Q&A platform.

Please try to stop the Windows Installer Service first, it may be caused by windows is installing updates in the backgroud.

Might check for and delete
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\InProgress

then reboot.
