I have a free Azure account that I have not published to in over 6 months. Now, when I try to publish an ASP.NET.CORE MVC web app from Visual Basic 2019 Community v16.7.6, and after selecting AZURE and AZURE APP SERVICES as targets, a popup dialog appears containing BACK, NEXT, FINISH and CANCEL buttons and a link captioned "Sign In". The NEXT and FINISH buttons are disabled. I click "Sign In" and enter my credentials plus a security code in the popup window. After signing in the NEXT and FINISH buttons remain disabled. There is no sign in error indicated.

RichHolopoff-4511 was able to solve the issue by creating a new Azure App Service by clicking the "+Create a new app service" link in the Publish dialog in Visual Studio. Just quoting the comment - " The problem was totally my fault: I had ignored the "+" link in the Publish dialog thinking that I already had an app service from over six months ago."

To double-check if all the perquisites are installed/available for publishing to App Service via VS and also validate the deployment via Azure Portal.

Thanks for sharing an update on this with the community, @Rich Holopoff . Much appreciate your follow-up!
