Stop HANA DB log backup from Vault.

Hi Team,

We are using azure backup to protect the HANA DB and when we stop the DB backup from vault it only stop the full scheduled backup not the log backup and due to this we get the log backup failure alerts when we bring down the DB. Could anyone suggest how we could stop the DB full backup along with Log backup so that we won't get the Log backup failure alerts.

    Hi,

    I believe you cannot stop the log backups in Azure Backup because this is controlled and managed within SAP HANA itself, you'll need to stop the log backups within SAP HANA.

    As you can see when configuring backup for SAP HANA, you'll notice the following:

    "In Log Backup, select Enable. This cannot be disabled as SAP HANA manages all log backups."
