There are two ways, you can pull last 6 months detailed bills and review. In case you are saving logs to your SIEM, then you can pull deployment of resources from there
How do I check the deployment log for our Azure environment (including changes associated with a certain resource)?
I'm a total noob to Azure and was just recently tasked to check the deployment logs of our existing environment.
Initial deployment of resources (Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts) was done sometime back in September 2019, and "optimizations" were made by a certain team from our company in February 2020.
Our bill sky-rocketed and the management knows that this is because of the "optimizations" that were done just recently. Before we talk to them, we want to make sure we got all evidence.
I hope someone can guide me on what's the best approach to getting this kind of data.
Thank you!

To review your costs in cost analysis, open the scope in the Azure portal and select Cost analysis in the menu. For example, go to Subscriptions, select a subscription from the list, and then select Cost analysis in the menu.
Let me know if you have any questions.
If you are seeing any error accessing this on Azure Portal, please share the screenshot/error message. Please 'Accept as answer' if this reply helped you, so that it can help others in the community.
