When playing Forza Horizon 4 or using the Xbox app on my pc and joining a party, my pc blue screens with DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL and it fails at sbwfw.sys.

    I have a Firewall called Vipre, i tried to change some settings in the firewall to try make it less harsh on programs but the same thing just happened and it blue screened my pc.

    Is there any way that i can fix this with out just straight deleting it?

    The driver that appears to cause the crash is the sbwfw.sys  :

    BugCheck D1, {ffff9e81386d7014, 2, 0, fffff809143c85e8}

    *** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for sbwfw.sys

    *** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for sbwfw.sys

    Probably caused by : sbwfw.sys ( sbwfw+185e8 )

    The sbwfw.sys appears to be a driver for a third party firewall.

    Which third party firewall do you have installed?

    What other third party security software is installed. Is Bitdefender installed?

    It may help to look at the minidump files from the blue screen crashes.

    Can you zip up the minidump files in the C:\Windows\Minidump folder and make available (provide link) via a public folder on OneDrive or similar site.

    Here's a link on using OneDrive:

    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-ca/onedrive/sha...

    If you have problems zipping the minidump files copy the minidump files to another location such as a folder on the Desktop.

    Also, you do not necessarily have to zip up the minidump files, you can upload them one at a time.
