Cannot change keyboard backlight/LED

I sent my laptop off the get it's screen repaired a few weeks ago and got it back today.

When I got it back, I found the memory had been completely wiped and the backlight or LED's behind the keys cannot change. When I press the FN hotkeys that usually changed the brightness of it, it no longer does.

Please help!

I tried updating that driver as well as ATK driver. Did not work. When I go onto windows mobility center, it doesn't even recognize that there is a backlight at all.

    No idea what's going on.

    Hi Lachy

Click the link below to go to the Support page for your VivoBook

On that page, select Windows 10, then download the Asus Precision Touchpad device driver and install that driver

Hopefully that will resolve this for you . . .

Hi Dave, yes, all the data was wiped, for some, weird reason.

The model is N580VD (Asus VivoBook Pro 15.) Tried updating drivers. Hasn't worked so far.

    Hi Lachy

When you say its memory had been completely wiped, do you mean all your data was gone from your hard drive - did you ask them why they did that when just replacing the screen?

The solution will be different for different models . . .

What is the Make and exact Model No. of your laptop, that will be printed on the bottom casing of your laptop
