    Hi,

What is the upgrade of the Windows 10, Windows 10 1709 or others?

After research, I found there are some similar cases that VMs disappear after upgrading to Windows 10 1709.

    https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/ie/en-US/4c98ee62-3b4c-4e96-9884-86a216e49343/lost-virtual-machines-after-upgrade-to-windows-10-1709?forum=win10itprovirt

It seems you have found the workaround to fix the issue, if you would like to find the root cause of the issue, I would suggest you open a case with MS for deep troubleshooting:

If you would like to feedback on the issue, you may try the feedback hub:

    Thanks for your time!
    Best Regards,
    Anne
