How do I remove Speech recognition from the Start menu in Windows 10?

Please help. I accidentally turned it on and now cannot sort out how to turn the damn thing off. thank you. janet

    Hello, to turn off speech recognition, go to the Windows search bar, then type in "speech", then choose Speech Recognition. Click on Advanced Options, then uncheck the "run speech recognition at startup" option. Restart the computer, and the speech recognition should no longer be there.

    Copy the below line

    control /name Microsoft.TextToSpeech

    Windows Key+R > Paste into Run Box the above copied text > Enter

    Click Speech Recognition tab > Uncheck Speech Recognition at Startup > Reboot
