Hello! I want to reset my windows 10 but i ran into a dialogue where it says erase the drive where windows is located and erase everything, something like that. My question is will windows 10 reset delete everything that's on my primary hard drive and not the partition that i gave for the operating system??

Hi Areg

A Windows Reset will wipe the System partition and not touch any other partition on your hard drive

However, please be careful, are you very sure you are in the Windows Reset and not the Manufacturers Recovery Environment?

Because a Manufacturers factory Reset will wipe everything and put your whole hard drive as it was when initially purchased . ..

Please provide a photo of the screen you are looking at before proceeding . . .

You can chose what to keep and what to remove during Windows 10 reset. When you reset, you can choose to keep your personal files and settings, so that your valuable data will not get lost. But your Windows apps, which you downloadedwill be gone and so your installations.

    Hello,

Windows 10 Reset process will only affect the data on drive on which Windows is installed. It never affects other parallel drive's data.

    Regards.
