Hi just a quick question. Why doesn't frequent folders in file explorer quick access show folders i actually frequent? For example there is a tv series i watched a year ago that has been there ever since and Ive not been back to it Ive watched many series since then that have more files that i do go back to but these dont show up. Other things I've looked at once and never been back that show up in there, sometimes i transfer a file and it gets in there and stays there. Do I need periodically clear something as it randomly latches onto folders with no regard to what i frequent. I never actually use it, as it doesn't work, so its not a big deal. Its just gives me a whatthe moment when i look at it, I'm just wondering if there is a simple explanation for it as it cant be meant to work like that.

yeah that doesn't solve my problem it helps clear the folders but what ive said to go in there doesn't actually go in there its completely random with no relationship to what ive done.

    Hi,

Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community.

The ‘Frequent folders’ and ‘Recent files’ appear within the ‘Quick access’ based on the usage of a particular folder or file.

I would suggest you to check this article on ‘Pin, remove, and customize in Quick access’ to choose what you wish to see in ‘Quick access’.

    Hope it helps.
