Hello,
I started an Azure account this week and start learning about the services. By the time I tried to use my domain as a custom domain, it says is already configured on another subscription I didn't recognize.
I own the domain, and I am the only owner so there is no way it could be used it in a legit way within a subscription...
The domain name belongs to my personal branch so I'm very worried about someone else using it!
I raise an Azure chat, but they address me to here.

Does that domain have email address, then possibly, a viral tenant. In such a case, you can use steps mentioned here - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/users-groups-roles/domains-admin-takeover
Thanks, I've already tried that, but in Step 4 when I go to Sign in to the Microsoft 365 admin center, it says I don't have permissions. I don't know how can I continue... Because in order to open a ticket with support I must be the admin of the Office 365 subscription.
I can use DNS and EMAIL to verify I'm the owner, but don't know how to address it.

This is the message it says when I tried step 6:
Confirm-MsolDomain : Unable to verify this domain because it is used elsewhere in Office 365. Remove the verified
domain from the other service before adding it here.
