My PC has just installed the latest Windows 10 updates but 2 of my drives are now missing. There should be a SATA HDD and Blue Ray disc drive. They are showing in the BIOS but when I checked Device Manager they are hidden, when I checked properties they are showing as disconnected. I have tried to update drivers but it shows that the latest divers are installed

    Hi,

this may be if these SATA channels are disabled in BIOS. Please, check BIOS settings carefully.

Instead of checking for driver updates are there any previous drivers listed in Device Manager. If you right click the device and select Update driver then Browse my computer and then Let me pick from a list of available drivers. Are there previous drivers listed and can you select the previous one.
